Ralston Principal Announcement

Ralston, AB - Superintendent Roger Clarke would like to congratulate Stacey Nunweiler who has accepted the position of principal at Ralston School.

Stacey started her teaching career in 2002 in Major, Saskatchewan.  In 2004, she took her career overseas where she taught in England, Bangladesh and Singapore.  In 2009, she worked as the head teacher of Wells International Kindergarten, before moving to Medicine Hat in 2014 where she was the Learning Support Teacher at George Davison School.  In the fall of 2017, Stacey joined the Ralston School teaching staff before being selected as acting-vice principal this past February.   In addition to a Bachelor of Education from the University of Saskatchewan, Stacey also recently obtained her Master of Education in Leadership and Administration through Gonzaga University.

“While Stacey is relatively new to school leadership, she already has strong ties to the Ralston community,” says Superintendent Roger Clarke.  “Her previous experience working with international students, including in the UK, is a strong asset and a great fit for Ralston School.  Stacey’s strong commitment to leadership and stakeholder engagement will serve her well in her new role.”

“Ralston is such a unique and wonderful school,” says Nunweiler.  “We have an amazing community, fantastic students, and an incredibly talented staff.  I feel so fortunate that I get to come to work here every day. I am very excited to join the Prairie Rose leadership team and continue with our school’s mission of Working Together to Succeed.”

Stacey Nunweiler will officially assume the role of Ralston School principal on August 27, 2019.
